SUNRISE PROJECT

On New Year’s Eve 2012, one of my kids came up to me and asked how long we have to live? tough question, especially with a beer, or two, or many in me . I could only think to say “We are not promised a long life, but we do have control of the quality of life we live.. I guess what I’m saying is, no one knows how many sunrises they will see, so its important to take advantage of every sunrise you do”.. Got the OK from her on that.. thank God!. But it led me to think,  how many sunrises will I see? Immediately the image of the Tootsie Pop Owl and the question asked of him came to mind (blaming this odd thought on the New Year’s cheer).. “How many licks does it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Pop?”.. how many more sunrises will I view? … and as the owl says “Let me see..”. So starts the Sunrise Project… Every day I’ll publish a photo of the sunrise.  I’ll see how far I’ll get with this Project, whether it be loss of interest or for what I hope is the real reason…… It was my last.
